Equipment Return |
|
Turning in equipment on time and completely helps the WBBA save money, which enables us to hold the line on program fees. Please be sure you return all the basketballs, the whiteboard and marker, the first aid kit, and anything else that was included in your bag. The players keep the jerseys and the shooting shirts. Please contact Jay Helgren via email at jhelgren@trane.com to return your equipment.

Wayzata Boys Basketball Summer Camp
for boys finishing grades 2-8 |
|
June 16-26, 2008
Thank you for your interest in what we feel will be another great year for the Wayzata Boys Basketball Camp. We will hold session 1-4 at Central Middle School. Each session here will focus primarily on learning to enjoy the game as well as skill development in all aspects of playing basketball. We will conduct sessions 5-8 at Wayzata High School. These sessions will devote a great deal of time to individual offensive skills such as proper shooting form, ball handling and passing. Time will also be spent on defensive skills. We will cover such topics as defending a dribbler, rebounding, and team defense. Also included in sessions 5-8 is our camp league in which each camper will play on a team and compete against other camp teams in at least three games per day. All sessions will have prizes, gifts and most important, lots of fun. Please join us again this summer.
This year’s staff will be made up of Head Coach Phil Ward and assistant coaches, Mike Anderson, Nick Tibesar, Allan Christopherson and Jon Matzke. They bring more than 70 years of coaching experience to the camp and all are professional teachers/coaches. Our goal is to make the game fun and therefore inspire the youngsters to want to play and practice more. We also will employ a number of high school players who can give the kids first hand knowledge of what we expect of them now and in the future, and what they need to do to become a great player.
Print the Registration Form for the Session Times and Locations.
